Turkey Omelette for Dogs

Note: The ready time does not allow for the cooling down period. Also the serving size and nutritional information depends upon the size of your pet. These have been calculated for a medium sized dog.

You can obtain calcium by crushing a calcium tablet or using egg shells.  Wash the shells and bake at 150F/gas mark 2 for 30 minutes.  When cold, pulverise in a food processor or mortar and pestle.

A specialty on the menu at our luxury dog hotel.

1   egg
2 tbs   potatoes, mashed
1/2 cup   turkey, diced
1/2 cup   mixed vegetables
1/4 cup   cheddar cheese, shredded
1/8 tsp   calcium

Heat a medium-sized pan with a small amount of olive oil.
Whisk together the egg and potatoes. Spread in pan.
Place turkey and veggies on top in even layers. Cover; simmer until egg cooks and the mixture is warm. Sprinkle cheese on top, then cook a few more minutes until cheese is melted and egg is golden brown. Let cool. Cut into wedges. Store in refrigerator.
